The avenue of Playa de Santiago - OPEN

The Maritime Avenue of Playa de Santiago, which connects Plaza del Carmen with access to the port, is now finished. A work that has turned this part of the coast into a pedestrian zone. The works have turned a one-way road into a pedestrian road with which neighbors and visitors can enjoy this walk along the coast of the region of Playa de Santiago, in the southern municipality of Alajeró. The work has included new access to the beach area and has gained some more beach space, with the aim of improving the commercial and economic activity of Playa de Santiago.
